Cancer Cell Plasticity

This Note examines cancer cell plasticity. Namely the ability of cancer cells to change phenotypes as an aid to metastatic behavior. Benign structure adhere to the mantra; “A place for everything, and everything in its place.” Plasticity in cells may result in a violation of this mantra, thus allowing clutter, and ultimately cellular hoarding, or metastasis.
