Well, here we are back again and as usual the USPS has refused to deliver the mail again. Guess it was too hot, too sunny, too lazy. Now what type of people would ever use these folks for an Election? You see, I guess no Congress Person ever gets their own mail. They most likely are clueless as well to the gross incompetence and downright abuse we get from the USPS. There is no remedy, none. Your chance of a reliable vote is ZERO folks. That is why we have voting machines. Use them....
Yet even the ignoble NY Times notes:
The good news is that the primary season gave states a chance to run
their elections with far more mail-in ballots than usual, and in many
places the system worked well. But there were multiple high-profile
examples of mail voting gone wrong. In Wisconsin, thousands of absentee ballots were requested and never received. In New Jersey, 10 precent of mail ballots were thrown out for arriving too late or for being otherwise deficient. In Pennsylvania,tens of thousands of absentee votes were either not cast or not counted, especially among voters who requested their absentee ballots closer to the election.
In New Jersey 10% of the ballots were thrown out! More likely a similar 10% were lost, another 10% rejected and another 10% fraudulent, just a guess! The Times lauds Mail In Voting while clearly indicating it potential for Voter Fraud. The Time spent four years on Russian interference but the Russians could do nothing as compared to the Postal Service.
