The NY Times reports the success of the UK vaccination program, especially for the "vulnerable". They note:
Britain is on track to deliver a first dose to everyone by the end of June. But vulnerable groups accounting for the vast majority of deaths could be vaccinated much sooner.
Unlike the UK, NJ has pushed this group to the very end of the line. First The Banker and Nurse Ratchet sent thousands to their demise in LTC facilities, and they are still dying there. Then they push prisoners, smokers, obese, pizza delivery folks (kidding), and others to the front. Then NJ has a system to scheduling that mandates in County only vaccination. Then they close the in county Mega site. These folks remind me of a fellow I heard about when I lived in Prague. I wills not name that one.
One wonders how many more at rick people will die before they can get vaccinated. Their only revenge is that they provide a base for aggressive mutations which will eventually get loose. One truly wonders if we have a single competent person in Trenton! I do not think do.
