NJ 2020 05 08

Well we are into May and things are starting to get better. But just a note. Did some shopping. Little old lady had her mask slung around her throat and half the people had no gloves and touching everything and then their faces. Education is lacking on this front.

Now the data:
Deaths are dropping but a weekend is coming up so we face the same issue.
The deaths are still dominated by Nursing Homes, LTC, and the solution to death rates is clear as day. Fix the LTC management issue.
The 14 day numbers for the state are fine, the county has a small positive blip we suspect due to the errors in daily reports. Not factual but an artifact or outlier.
I can show this in the above 14 day running average numbers showing consistent negatives.
County prevalence is low and decreasing. It is now 0.15%, getting to the point of 1 in a 1,000!
The state is also on the down run.
The percent of the state infected is about 1.5% and two thirds are either dead or no longer infectious.
The above is the summary charts which the Gov should be lauding and thanking people. NOT!
The above is the county doubling time, still above 60 days
and overall the state is above 50 days.
