The Murphy administration has quietly started vaccinating inmates and staff at New Jersey's correctional facilities in its initial march toward an end to the COVID-19 pandemic. The first "limited" shots were administered Tuesday at South Woods State Prison, in Bridgeton, the state's largest corrections facility and one with the largest population of inmates with underlying conditions, according to the governor's office and a union representative. Other facilities were expected to follow based on their readiness and the availability of vaccines, the governor's office said. "Throughout the pandemic, the administration has been concerned about the disproportionate impact of COVID-19 on vulnerable populations, such as those in high-risk, congregate settings," spokesman Jerrel Harvey said in a statement.
Yes, in the new unannounced Phase 1a Phil and his team have taken from the health care providers and LTC residents the very thing they said they would do and have given it to murderers, rapists, thieves. This us Darwinian Survival of the Fittest in New Jersey. Also note they snuck this in on New Years eve on the holiday weekend so hoping it would not be noticed. Cute guys.
Phil and his cronies eliminated their already obscene rollout plan, failed to use 70% 0f the vaccine made available and deployed what was around to the prisons.
So if you want to get the vaccine in New Jersey try to get sent to prison, I guess!

As we look to 2021 we see that the angst will not be from the virus but from the vaccine and the gross incompetence of all levels of Government. Hold onto to your hats folks, if you thought 2020 was a ride just watch Phil and his cronies, they will make 2020 look sane!
